The photographs people keep are the ones where they look like themselves. Everything about the way this studio works is built around that.
We arrive early, learn the room, and stay close to what is actually happening. We direct where direction helps: a hand moved, a chin turned, a group gathered before the light goes. Then we step back, so the day belongs to the people living it. Nobody is asked to perform.
The result is professional work without a production. Clean, current photographs, edited with a consistent hand, from a studio that treats a Tuesday headshot and a three-hundred-guest wedding with the same seriousness.

A conversation first
We start on the phone. Date, place, who is coming, what you care about most. It takes ten minutes and it shapes everything after it.

A plan for the light
Timelines and locations are chosen around when the light is good, so the photographs are made in the best hour available to us.

Direction, only where it helps
Enough guidance that nobody has to wonder what to do with their hands. Not so much that the day starts to feel staged.

Editing with a consistent hand
Every delivered photograph is finished individually, in one color and tone, so the set holds together as a body of work.
